Primary Connect celebrates high productivity vehicle partnership

National logistics company, Primary Connect, is once again partnering with Ron Finemore Transport to create innovative transport solutions for its customers.

Five 30m B-double high cube combinations were added to Primary Connect’s network last month, and with Ron Finemore Transport they both worked closely with trailer supplier engineers and local government bodies to bring the 100-pallet high productivity vehicles into service.

These B-double combinations are currently being used in the Primary Connect network to transport ambient freight between Sydney to Wodonga and Brisbane to Wodonga, lifting each lane capacity by an extra 10 per cent.

Ron Finemore Transport Managing Director, Mark Parry, said the company will continue to invest in safe equipment for its customers.

“Ron Finemore Transport continues to make investments in higher productivity equipment as we seek to deliver to our customers safely, reliably and more cost effectively,” he said.

“These investments are part of a continuous journey to safely increase productivity which benefits the community and helps reduce emissions per pallet carried.”

According to Primary Connect, each of these new vehicle combinations will reduce B-double truck movements by 80 per cent per annum on Australia’s roads.

The partnership benefits the future growth for both business with safety, reliability, efficiency and sustainability as their top priorities.
